TAINTED.  For their fans the name means heavy, honest, heart-pounding rock filled with energy, power, and passion. 

2009 sees TAINTED stepping to the next level as the band finishes a new full-length CD produced by Brett Hestla, singer for Dark New Day and former bassist for Creed.  Aside from co-producing Dark New Day's albums, Hestla has produced records for national acts like Framing Hanley, Signum A.D., and Fosterchild. [The first 4 tracks on this profile are rough mixes from the recording sessions.]

The band is also transitioning to the next phase by amicably parting ways with founding guitarist Moe Girard and bringing a fresh new rocker into the fold!

And while TAINTED focuses on the future, the group builds on an already eventful past. They've headlined regional shows, and supported national acts like One Less Reason, Dope, Allele, Hypnogaja, The Accident Experiment [with Marcos Curiel from P.O.D.] and Warrant.  They've relseased a video for "21st Century Freedom" and plan to release at least one video for the upcoming album.  They've seen their song "Distracted" placed as the first track on the Kansas City Rockers For Life compilation CD from iLLUMINA Records out of Boston.

With an underlying theme of the need for humanity to unite, TAINTED’s musical message is driven into the eardrum.  When you hear their music, it’s apparent these guys mean to grab your attention with heavy rock that’s both raw and refined.  With a recipe of rockin’ riffs and hook-laden harmonies, TAINTED is determined to make their mark.

TAINTED's contemporary influences include acts like Seether, Staind, their good friends in Signum A.D., Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Disturbed, and Dark New Day.
